My grandma is planning to sell her house and I just picked up her mother's cast iron skillet. Now I can make double batches of your cast iron breads for a hungry family of six. Something else to try!

Oooo, an old cast iron skillet! What a great thing to inherit! I like to have one skillet for savory dishes and one for sweet. That way my apple bread doesn't end up tasting faintly of onions. ;)
