Usually, the second week in December, the leaves fall from deciduous trees planted by transplants who want reminders of back east. But because it is so dry, the leaves don't change colors. <br /><br />But God is good. This year, someone in the neighborhood planted roses in their front walkway and the leaves of the rose plant turned a brilliant red.
